9.2 GR from production - Work Center Bin

Hello experts,

I'm tring to do a GR from production.

RF> Inbound Process> Reciving of HU> Rec. HU BY Manufacturing Order> Rec.HU by HU.

I select my Work Center, F915: wich has following characteristics:

• it is assigned to a standard work center lay out VPMX
• it is assigned to Storage type F915 with has storage type Role Work Center in Staging Areas Group
• and It is assigned to a bin with the same name F915.

And I'm getting this error:

E: Storage bin for goods movement postings not determined (/SCWM/DELIVERY012)

why if the Work center is assigened to a bin, the system does not find a bin to GR?

Hello,

do you have the GoodsMvtBin filled in in your delivery item?

E.g. for WPT 1010 the source bin is usually GR-ZONE in 9010 storage type or some Door. Depends on your process.

Hello Petr,

No I haven't updated the WPTY with the Source Storage type and Source Storage Bin because the GR storage type will have one bin per production line, and I need to GR per line.

Following Advance Production Integration PDF, my WPTY looks like P113.

Please check the attachement. I don't understan why if I log on into a Work Center that has a Bin assigned, why is the system is not finding that bin that is showing in the transaction when doing the GR

I understand the highlighted bin as the destination bin and I assume you have assigned that correctly. What I am questioning is the source bin for receiving. It should be the interface bin.

yes I have, in Master Data>Work Center>/SCWM/TWORKST - Define Master Data Attributes

Description WC 1 GR - Stag. Area from Prod.

Storege Bin: Line7                                                                                

Storage TYpe: F915
