Dear Sam:

Take into account that when you create a sales order is mandatory to enter the sales area data, so one specific sales order only belongs to this sales area, example Sales organization/distribution channel and division.

This behavior is related to reports, pricing, sales statistics, accounting, etc. for each sales area.

Example:

If you have 2 distribution channels as "national sales" and "Export sales" for a sales order is only possible to create it with one distribution channel if the distribution channel are several for which sales area data the sales order will be directed.

Please check it and revert

Hey Jose,

Thanks for your reply, so it means one Sales Order and one Sales Area, meaning one particular sales order can belong to ONLY one Sales Area. Is that right?
