Hello Plaban,

You need to maintain the regulation at central objects. Doing that, the regulation will appear for selection at local objects.

Hi Sahoo,

The below steps shows that you have created the necessary steps required in back end :

In the IMG define subtypes for for regulation-specific attributes.

Configure compliance initiatives

Relate regulation to plan usage

Maintain regulation role assignment

But have you created the required regulation in the front end too (i.e. in Master Data-> Regulations)??

If yes, have you attached the regulation to the sub process at central level??

Thanks,

Hello Sahoo,

Have you assigned regulations to Organizations

  • If Regulation: SOX, and FDA is assigned to Subprocess: "Subprocess1" and "Subprocess1", is assigned to Organization: "Organization1",then go to Regulations Tab of Organization: "Organization1", SOX, and FDA should be displayed
  • If one subprocess is assigned to an organization, the regulation assigned to this Subprocess should be assigned to this organization and its Parent Organization as well
  • If a regulation is no longer relevant to any of the organizations/child organizations, the assignment to its parent shall also be retired.

also check below settings in SPRO

  1. Execute the transaction "SPRO".
  2. Navigate Governance, Risk and Compliance -> Common Component Settings -> Planning and Scheduling -> Define Plan usage.
  3. Click on "Plan Activity for Process Control".
  4. Select "PERF-PDASS(Perform Subprocess Design Assessment)".
  5. Make the checkbox for "Need Regulation" as checked.
  6. Replan the subprocess design assessment.
  7. Now the task will show the corresponding regulation

Hi Srinivas,

thanks very much for the detail. But, no regulation called SOX or FDA is assigned to my subprocess. So, i want to assign it. But, as shown in my screenshot(1st post of this thread), i do not see any regulation or how to assign it.

i have done the steps 1-7 , as per your  post, but same result.

Could you say, if have to assign regulation through any node in SPRO

thanks very much .

Hello Sahoo,

Check if subtype 5000 is defined for regulations in SPRO or Not

if not define follow like below

Path:

SPRO>GRC>Process Controls>Multiple Compliance Framework>Define subtypes for regulation specific attributes

after this configure the compliance Initiatives

Now you can try
