ECC5 INSTALLATION ERROR

hi!

i try to install ECC 5.0 with windows 2003 & oracle 9i to my standalone system. my system capacity is 3G.Hrz, 2GB RAM, 160GB harddisk.

i was successfully installed central instance (Uni-code ) of ABAP engine.

when i try to install Database instance, it's install upto Database Load(post processing). After completing all the file of database load, getting the following error:

1. when install in win 2003, if there NT patch is required or not??( like R3dllin.exe )

2. when i install Oracle 9i, can i select option only install Software ( means install only software and don't create database now) or not?

as per log your getting ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kqrfrpo], [0x1B7196B8], [12], [], [], [], [], []

> try to install latest oracle patch and retry your option else search for notes.

1. when install in win 2003, if there NT patch is required or not??( like R3dllin.exe )

> you can get this information in installatin guide, there is no problem if you apply latest path.

2. when i install Oracle 9i, can i select option only install Software ( means install only software and don't create database now) or not?

> you have to start oracle installation as per installation guide, they have clearly metioned how to start oracle installation. insted of running SETUP.exe you have to use sapserver.cmd this script will not create any database instance and installs only software.

when i try to install Oracle, when i click sapserver.cmd file, it will not start. why?

sapserver.cmd is a batchfile, it has to launch the oracle installer. try to run the same command from commandline, then you can see the errors if there are.

You have to install Oracle Software only. Database will load by SAP during DB instance installation
