Obligatory transport target for business system XXX...

Hi All,

I'm having a bit of an issue transporting objects on PI 7.31 (Java only) using CTS+ the main factor here is that I have a 3 tier PI system and a 4 Tier ERP System...

I have set my business systems on the SLD as on the image below

When I try importing Iflows into QAS I get an error saying that "Obligatory transport target for business system XXXCLNTXXX not found in System Landscape Directory"

On the SLD we can see that the business system has the target populated

So, anyone know why I keep getting this error?...

Best Regards, Juan

Have you maintained the association between the corresponding Integration server's as well ?

i.e.

Source

Integration server_DEV

Target

Integration server_QA

----

And i believe while exporting the PI objects from "PIDEV", the configuration objects are pointing to the "Source Business System" in SLD.

Sorry I should have commented on that.... because the 3-4 tier relation  ERP DEV and TST are set with the same integration engine DEV (is this possible?), the error is happening on the ERP test business system.

Based on my understanding...

Manual development of interfaces is possible but i don't think you can use CTS+ for transporting the interfaces on the same integration server.

Even when you configure CTS+, you might have chosen 3 tier

PIDEV -> PI QA -> PI PRD

So what you can do is follow below approach :

PIDev(designate either ERP Dev/ERP TST as primary system for transporting)

PI QA (in the SLD assign the designated(above) system as source)

PI PRD( QA as source)

in PI Dev, you have to manually create the interfaces for both ERP Dev and ERP Tst.

This is what I was afraid of, so there is no way to create a "dummy" integration engine so CTS+ can work  and PI DEV can continue supporting both  DEV and TST systems?

I don't think that is possible Juan.

Thanks a lot... we have decided to designate one of the systems as test system
