How to find the integrated ITS version

Hi All,

We have done the kernel upgrade in our environment. I have to find the ITS version as it is part of SAP kernel now.

Kindly suggest.

Hello Karthik,

In simplistic terms and even in SAP Notes, the integrated ITS version is considered to be the same as the Kernel version, provided you upgrade the kernel as prescribed in the relevant kernel upgrade notes and you take care of any ITS specific procedures.

In any case, why would you need the version details ?

Additional comment about the 'SAP-integrated ITS' :

           To determine the version of the ITS integrated into the SAP Web AS kernel, choose System -> Status in the SAP GUI. On the dialog window that then appears, choose Additional kernel information and you then receive the information about the used SAP kernel ("kernel release" and "patch level") in the following dialog window. This is the relevant information for the integrated ITS.

Thanks for the reply. So you meant to say that Kernel version and patch is the same for ITS also as per note.

Hello Kartik,

Almost but not completely.

The ICM patch level can be different from the disp+work even if they were delivered in the same SAPEXE* or DW* package.

So to have the ICM version run tx SMICM and display the trace file or run icman -V from the o/s.

There you will get the ICM (integrated ITS) version.
