Error in URL link for approvers in email notifications - GRC 10

Hi All,

After scheduling the PC - CCM jobs , all the approvers got the email notfication with the link to work inbox.

when approvers clicked work inbox , they are getting error message.

Kindly help on getting the steps to check for areas we need make sure , why link is not working and how to solve.

And what is the reason for this error?

Service cannot be reached What has happened? URL call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.

Note The termination occurred in system with error code 404 and for the reason Not found.

What can I do? Please select a valid URL. HTTP 404 - Not found Your SAP Internet Communication Framework Team

Hello,

Activate the relevant services in t code SICF

check the below Note for technical process

2145019 - Error - Service Cannot be reached

1697673 - GRC 10.0 - Service cannot be reached

Hi Baithi,

Thanks for your reply , it was useful.

In our case , approvers can access workitem via work inbox in nwbc.

But they are facing issue , only when they try to click the work inbox link from email.

need helpon the same.

Hello,

The above error occurs only when services are not activated in SICF

Kindly activate the node and sub nodes of service and test

Hi Baithi,

As per the SAP note , service given for activation are  

GRFN_INBOX_MONITOR' and 'GRFN_INBOX_MONITOR_CN_RV'

but both services not visible to us in mentioned path in SICF.Can u please specify the service path to activate.

Hello,

The given Notes only for technical process not exactly for your issue

You need to follow the same process for your relevant service

check the below  link they commented some services

SICF service - error code 404
