purpose of Shipping Advice

i have developed the <b>Shipping Advice</b> Form, But i don't the purpose and significance of this.

can any body please post the appropriate information regarding this.

Hi,

Usually its given to the Forwarding agent, it has 3 copies, 1 for Road permit, 1 for Customer and 1 for the Carrier.

It gives a detailed info about the Goods carried and its value

these are the forms that i have developed, can you send information for these forms also

1. arrival notice / freight invoice

2. statement of packing condition

3. commercial invoice

4. pick-up / delivery order

5. devanning instructions

6. segregation request

If not possible please inform me do we have any site to get the details regarding these forms,it is very urgent .
