How to make a custom theme a default theme?

Hi gurus,

I want to change the internal default theme to the one I've created but the option to make the custom theme a default theme is greyed out, how do i make it not to be greyed out? I'm using SAP Sourcing 10.0 (Please see attachements)

Hello Sabelo,

Only "system" user has the right to change the default theme.

You could also set your desired theme at the company level in Setup->Masterdata->Companies.

The theme has changed for all systems but the netweaver theme is not changed, what steps should i take to change it?

Hello Sabelo,

Hope you can solve your issue by doing these actions:

  1. Shutdown the NetWeaver system
  2. Delete the node folders server0, server1, serverx (/usr/sap/SID/SID/j2ee/cluster)
  3. Start the NetWeaver system

When you start the system it will recreate the node folders and they should be in a synchron state as it loads the complete content out of the database. This means that it will create your custom theme on all nodes.

Whatever custom theme you have created, go to your enterprise company in company master data and assign it there. it will take effect
