Batch unique at site level

Hi,

We have set batch unique at site level. We have created internal number range for batches. When procuring a material in two different plant system is generating batch in sequence i.e For Plant 1 batch created 0001 & for same material at Plant 2 batch created is 0002.

But this should not be the behaviour of the system as per configuration.

If we procure another material at Plant 1 system creates batch 0003 & same material in Plant 2 system creates 0004 batch.

Kindly provide the check points where the setting is missing.

There is only 1 number range for batch numbers from where the batch number is taken in sequence regardless of the plant even when your batch level is plant level.

If you want plant specific numbers then you need to user the user exits: Configure Customer Exits for intern. batch number assignment
