Hi SD folk

I would like to know of the following:

  1. We have setup batch determination in the system for SD module, and I want to find out from a list of sales document (100 thousands of documents)that which one of then using the batch determination based on the system setup in SPRO.
Can you tell me how to pull out information like that in the SD sales order table (VBAP, VBAK)

  2. May I know if a user key in the batch value in the sales order line item, does it means system automatically using batch determination?

Thanks

Tuff

Hi Tuff,

Field VBAP-XCHPF should be helpful for point 1.

Hi Tuff,

If user is selecting a batch and giving at the item level in sales order or delivery, then its not automatic batch determination.

Thanks

For your question 1, I don't think we can find directly find the data from any single table.

For question 2, no it does not mean it is automatically determined the batch. However, based on the settings in the batch search strategy type in the configuration side, the manually entered batch can be checked against the batch search strategy records added in VCH2.
