The course is amazing.  

However is there a free environment where i can do some self learning and put what i learn in practice?

Everything is written in the course. But as far as I know there is an environment, but you have to pay for the time you spend there (or something like that). But the payment is not to SAP, but some other company. Check the description in the course.

Unfortunately I don't know about any other possibility.
