QM notification workflow with multiple scenarios

Dear experts, I got a request from business to work out a workflow solution for quality notifications based upon multiple business scenarios. Our company has several business/product lines and they carry QA/QC processes slightly differently, meaning that the quality notification should flow in different ways between departments in terms of who is supposed to take care of next task.

Examples:

For business/product line #1 the quality notification should flow this way: Quality -> Engineering -> Quality -> Purchasing

For business/product line #2 the quality notification should flow this way: Production -> Quality -> Engineering -> Quality

Please let me know whether it´s possible to cover such multiple business workflows on quality notifications. Thanks, Julio.
