Hi Bala,

Something is missing there as you said it was working previously.

Because you are accessing remote xMII server so only java installation might be problem.

Uninstall all java components and install again.

Bala,

Can you check whether this java version is enabled in your internet options.

Go to tools\Internet option\Advanced in your browser and check in the list.

Enable it if it not enabled and restart your system.

If it does not work,

Stop servlet-xMII service

Restarting your IIS admin service

And then restart your xMII service

Hope u have luck doing this.....

Thanks,

Ajitha

Hi Bala,

Did BLS work properly before???

If it fails when you start opening it for the fiirst time, try restarting your system again.

Are you working on the server?????

Thanks,

Bala,

Try running BLS locally from the http://localhost/Lighthammer/Menu.jsp menu.

I've seen where it works under localhost, but not under <servername>.

Of course, you need to be on the xMII server to run localhost.

Bala,

Try the way Rick has suggested....this happens with me often...

I'm not sure if this will solve your problem, but let us try....

If you have two versions of Java installed in your system, disable the one other than 1.4.2_08 in your Java Web start ( this is under the tab JAVA after you click File\Preferences)

And then try clearing your cache. To do this click on Advanced Tab under File\Preferences and click on "Clear Folder" Button.

Then try to restart your servlet-xMII service and then try logging in SAP xMII.

Let me know whether it is fixed.....

Thanks,

Ajitha

Hi Bala,

Business Logic Services run on top of Java™ Web Start 1.4.2, which is part of J2SE 1.4.2.

Troubleshooting:

Probably Java™ WebStart does not detect the correct Proxy Settings .

This could be set to None or to specific for values HTTP Proxy and HTTP Port .

Contact your network administrator for the correct settings.

To change the Proxy Settings:

Select Windows Start menu -> All Programs -> Java Web Start -> Java Web Start

Choose File -> Preferences -> General

Choose None to switch off the proxy settings or Manual to set the HTTP Proxy and HTTP Port.

ChooseOK

Close Java™ Webstart

If works reward points

Hi Bala,

I think the problem is with your java web start.

Try using JRE Version <b>1.4.2_08</b> or more. Hope this will work.

Bala,

The recommended Java version for xMII is 1.4.2.07.

Try making the preference as none in your Java web start and try again...

Let me know the status

Thanks,

Ajitha
