Just to add to JK reply , an RFC destination- (ABAP Connection type 3) is specified between Frond End system - Gateway and Back End Business Suite system, which enables the the remote enabled FM s to access from Gateway system.

In the SEGW you have to import RFC interface. You should check

Hi Jitendra, very thanks for your quick respond. I have seen it before and i knew it but what i want to know is the details process on how is function module can be exposed from back-end to gateway. Do you know how actually it happen?

I am not yet clear what exactly you are asking. I hope other experts can share more views on this.

AFAIK, all BAPIs are remote enabled Function modules (FM) but not all remote enabled FM are BAPIs. To make a function module as remote enabled, you have to activate Remote-Enabled Module flag so that this can be accessible from outside the SAP system using RFC (remote function call) protocol.
