SLD ANd JCO Connection Error

Pleae help me in trouble-shooting this issue ,I am new to Netweaver Configuration

I am Using ECC 6 EHP 6.0 AS ABAP

And SAP Netweaver 7.30    AS JAVA  Application

And i am facing this issue

Unable to check SLD and Configure it and Jco creation and Maintaenence got disabled

Hello Pavankumar,

Can you please describe your landscape ?

Assuming your java system is hosting SLD ?

Also, assuming you are trying to register / connect to SLD from ECC?

Sucessfully SLC RFC Connections has been connected

but can i know how to check whether

ECC system AS ABAP

Netweaver 7.30 AS JAVA

connection was succesfull or not

Is any kind of process for the testing pupose

He has already suggested transaction,

Login into ECC and execute the transaction SLDCHECK, it will launch your browser.

enter userid and password for your SLD and then check your SAPGUI screen, it will tell you whether the connection test was okay or not.

SLD_UC connection was tested succesfully But can u tell me how can we know whether ECC AS ABAP connected to NETWEAVER 7.30 AS JAVA

Is any procedure there to test from Netweaver

Hi Yellapu ,

Check in  nwa of your 7.30 JAVA system whether any JCO RFC Connections exist to the ECC system , If the connection tests are working then you are sure one RFC connection exists and is working b/wn the system .

Also check for any HTTP connection in SM59 of your ECC system to 7.30 Java system

That should tell you if your ECC is connected to your Netweaver JAVA (where I assume your SLD is).

If that is not what you are seeking, sorry I can't understand what you are trying to do.

The SLD_UC connections were connected succesfully

Can u tell how to know whther my backend system ECC AS ABAP has succesfully connected to netweaver or not

Hi Yellapu ,

Little confused here on what exactly you require .

Is the 7.30 system  being used as the sld ? If yes

     Are you worried whether ECC is sending data to  java sld ? [ If  SLDCHECK  is fine and you      have sceduled the job through RZ70 then  you are fine ] . Check the below link to help yourself

If no ,

Please brief what exactly you are trying to achieve . ECC and Java system can communicate through many ways . What exact connection/communication  you are trying to achive

And can i create the roles for the users in backend ecc AS ABAP sytem  from the Netweaver

really sorry as i cam not able to understand your requirement correctly .

May be  others could help you .

Please provide the following details .

1 ) What is the role of your java 7.30  system . Is it being used as a portal ? GRC ?

2 )  Where is the  user store for the java system ? is it the ECC system

Hi,

Pleas check you SLD configuration in SLDAPICUT transaction in ABAP systems, and  make sure that its connection in RZ70.  Also check autogenarated RFC's to SLD SLD_NUC and SLD_UC are working fine.

For JCo connection creation please refer SAP stander documentation.

And another querry can u tell me is this role should be added in ECC or Netweaver system coz my two systems i.e. ECC AS ABAP are NWA AS JAVA both are seperate instances
