PLM - ecc 6.0 upgrade from 4.6c

I'm looking for help to model cost benefits of moving from a 3rd party engineering interface(agile) to full SAP integration.

NOTE: i posted this request once before, without success, ( I thought maybe the wrong forum??)

We are ultimately upgrading from R3 4.6c to ecc 6.0.

I envision full CAD integration with PLM using DMS, KM and Collaboration.

I need a contact within SAP to help me rationalize my thoughts and goals.

Larry,

Should you still be interested in the cost/efficiency benefit of the SAP direct integration contact me at christoph.fischer@cideon.com. I work with a SAP development & special expertise partner that develops/installs integrations for various CAD systems.

Best regards,

Christoph

Hi Larry,

if I understand you correctly you are looking for some ways to find out, which benefits you will gain by using SAP PLM.

On the SAP Service Marketplace you can find more details on that (log-in required).

http://service.sap.com/~sapidb/011000358700002263902002E/991F613D6C6E4325ADFB06DCE294F352.htm

or http://service.sap.com/c-business -> Cross-Industry Maps -> PLM.

Here you can see, which scenarios offer which benefits.

I hope that already helps,

Martin

Hi

I would like to know, if any one has done any interface for SAP-Agile PLM. We are having Agile Advantage 2006 and in the stage of implementing SAP ECC 6.0. Since all our item, BOM and other related data are in Agile PLM solution, we are looking for interface/adaptor the populate data from Agile into SAP. Does any one done this or aware of any tools available in the market ?
