BO 4.1 Add on for Lumira desktop

Hi,

Can anyone confirm the planned general release for Lumira Desktop to BO 4.1 Connectivity.

We do not have Lumira Server or Hana  .

Landscape is  BO 4.1 SP2 (Linux) & Lumira desktop.

I think the answer is "not initially" (I've only seen windows builds for the validation thus far)

However,  this would make a good test, as we do support heterogenous nodes (so long as the CMSs are on the same O/S type)

The initial release (v. 1.25), ETA end of April will only support Windows. Linux is planned for Q3, 2015 - September or later.

So, once 1.25 releases that recommendation would be to add a Windows machine to a Linux cluster. Or wait until September +

Hello Tony,

We are planning to release SAP Lumira, server for BI Platform 1.25 by end of April. which is an add-on to BI Platform and supported from BI 4.1 SP03 onwards (functionalities supported would differ based on platform version). with this you can save a lumira document from desktop, view and manage Lumira Documents in BI Lauchpad and CMC.
