Performance and capacity of PPF with TM

Hi,

I'm working with a client who is considering using the PPF with TM to publish forwarding order "documents" to other applications.

It seems like it will meet the functional needs very well, but we have questions about potential capacity limits in terms of how many of these publish actions PPF could realistically handle per minute / hour / day.

Has anyone ever used PPF with TM in this respect?

What volume and frequency of actions have you been able to handle?

Hello Dan,

Based on my experiance, PPF is generally stable and reliable. While it is not so easy to tell how many document / day is ideal as that depends on you system configuration etc., We have implemented PPF for client where the volume is approx 3000 documents / Day and I can say based on experiance that it works without much performance issues.

Thanks for the valuable info and feedback Hari.

I agree that the answer to any performance / capacity question is "it depends" to some extent, but I'm just looking for some real world examples on what others have done.
