Hi,
If the sales order number is created with reference to quotation then check in VBAK table Pass VBELN(Sales Document)get VGBEL(Reference doc) field.

You can not get Quotation number in Sales order, you can check in document flow, or VBFA table

There is the details information regaring how to get the quotation number from VBFA:
1, SE16 -> VBFA Enter then Go to manual path
Settings -> Fields for Selection -> select the following fields:
VBELV Preceding Document
VBELN Subsequent document
POSNN Subsequent item
VBTYP_V Preceding doc.categ.
2, Enter the sales fields as following:
VBELN the sales document number
POSNN the sales document item
VBTYP_V B (Quotation)
Execute (F8)
3, in the output, the
VBFA-VBELV is the Quotation document number
VBFA-POSNV is the item number of the Quotation.
