Hi all
I have a strange situation here.
Workprocesses would not start and gave an error 12640 - it looks like an authentication error.
So I commented the line "SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NTS)" from sqlnet.ora
This forces SAP not to use NT Authentication, and workprocesses starts up fine.
However, when that happens (commented out the SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES) - sqlplus will not start.
When you do a sqlplus /nolog, it gave an ORA-1031
Is there a way to force sqlplus not to use SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NTS)" ?
(just like how SAP worked with that line commented)
Any quick insights appreciated.

Try other options for the parameter.
None, ALL or NTS.
