SAP Fiori Client - URGENT - Crash Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1

Dear All,

I have a problem when start the SAP Fiori Client (Standard from Play Store or Custom develop from Kapsel Plugin from SMP3.0SP7) in Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. The App crash when I enter in some apps: for example when I enter in Approve Travel Expenses and try to display the attachment or when I enter in My travel request apps.

I don't to understand which is the problem in the native Apps.

Application run correctly in Samsung S4 or S4 mini, also in a desktop browser.

You have some notes to apply to resolve the problem ?

Hi Roberto,

I feel the issue was fixed in latest UI library version. Please update the ui5 library version in your gateway system :

What is your ui library version ?

Latest is 1.26.11

How to check your ui5 library version and upgrade ?

Hi Tejas,

thanks for your suggestion, I upgraded the UI library to the latest version 1.24.6 e 1.26.9 but unfortunately I have a crash problems in Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1  with the SAP Fiori Client, instead if I use the browser all work correctly.

I don't understand where is the problem (Gateway, app) ??

What is the Android version running in Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 ?

We should be able to check the error logs from the settings of the Fiori Client.

Is the error log from Custom Fiori client of SP07 (or) the standard client from play store ?

Also what is the version of the Fiori Client being tested with?

Make sure you are meeting the maximum supported versions by the client

Fiori Client 1.2 supports till Android 4.4 ,

Fiori Client 1.1 supports till Android 4.3

Fiori Client 1.0 supports till Android 4.2

From Custom Fiori client (Version 3.7.1) of SP07 but the same is for Standard SAP Fiori Client (Version 1.2.4) downloaded from play store.

Hi Roberto,

I was facing the same issue with Fiori client on IOS, and i upgraded UI to 1.26.11.

Please check the release notes here and see which version has the fix.

1.26.11 is out. You might want to upgrade and check.

when I run the program /UI5/UI5_UPLOAD_PATCH_TO_MIME in test mode I receive this error: Version is lower than existing one 1.26.9 1.26.11

I need to apply SP10 before SP11 ?

I updated UI to 1.26.11 but the crash in Samsung Note 10.1 remain the same.

I need to use some transaction after the importation to refresh the cache ?

Hi Janos,

unfortunally also the upgrade of UI at 1.26.11 version not resolve the problem.

Seams that the error depends of Crosswalk plugin used in FioriClient because it alloc a lot of memory and the App crash.

If I create the Custom Fiori Client without Crosswalk I cannot use the camera in Travel expenses App
