CProject/CPM - Project Creation issue

Hi Experts,

We have automated the process of project creation in CProjects system from ECC system by using BAPIs , the whole process is in web dynpro ABAP but when i am trying to access the project creation BAPI from ECC it is giving dump error " The current application triggered a termination with a short dump." , i checked through ST22 it is giving error in 'BAPI_CPROJETCS_COMMITWORK' in cproj system , kindly help on the same.

Hi Priya ,

• Kindly make sure that you have passed required parameters to the Project Creation RFC usually Project Template name , Cost & Profit center ID , company code of offshore and onsite location will be the mandatory fields for that.

• Make sure Project template is created in both the systems ECC as well CProjects , because after the successful completion of this Project creation you may have to create the same project in ECC - CJ20n for the milestone maintenance purpose.

• Here in this case we are creating Projects through RFC User hence make sure RFC user has enough roles assigned to create project in CProjects system
