Reg: IDM-SAP HCM integration

Hello Experts,

SAP IDM 7.2 SP8

We are facing issue in passing future values to IDM from SAP HCM, earlier it used to work fine when HR people hire / transfer any employees on future dates and same time SAP IDM creates a future value for the identity and process the request once the requested date arrived.

Suddenly it has stopped creating future values and processing all transfer/hiring actions from HCM system on same day itself irrespective of actual transfer date.

Any pointers where I should check to resolve this issue ?

Do the records in Staging Id Store have still the dates with attribute values as they used to?

If they do, do you have a higher environment (QAS, PROD) that has older IdM version so you could compare the scripts in the event task that moves the users from Staging to Productive Id Store..

If there are no dates in the attribute values then I would blame VDS (if that was patched also), try opening and saving the config in VDS or recreate it with new patch version..

Hi Tero,

Its working fine now as dates are with attribute values ,  Earlier it was always starting date as : 01/01/1900 .

Any clue why it was picking 01/01/1900 as a start date ?

Those are default dates passed from HCM/ABAP if there is not start mentioned it will always default to 01/01/1900
