Extract cfolders documents and save externally

Hello, I am looking for a process to extract all the cfolders documents from collaboration folders(not sure where they are stored) and save them externally.Is it possible to do that? I tried to run a write archive job from SARA for CFX_ARCH object. It generated a .archive file but I am not sure how to extract documents to view from that archive. Any help on this is very much appreciated. Thanks MLS

Hi,

you mean from one folder in a collaboration, one collaboration or from all collaborations at once?

Have you looked at WebDAV as an option, so to browse cFolders via File Explorer?

Is your cFolders environment using SAP Content Servers?

Yes, we are using content server. We want to extract from all collaborations.

wow, OK, looks like a bigger task.Probably leveraging the cFolders APIs in a custom program might be the best way then, not sure how many documents you are expecting....

Available Function Modules - SAP Portfolio and Project Management - SAP Library

Unfortunately I don't have more details. Another avenue mightbe to directly go onto the content server and pull the documents from there, but not sure here either.

You might want to check with SAP Document Management Support.
