Hi Folks,

Need ability to apply a mass change to all records to add collaborators to records, is this possible through a standard functionality in Wave 9.

Thank you,

HM

Hi Harsh,

You can achieve this by importing the workbook for adding the collaborator. I have sent you the workbook on your email id which is mentioned.

Let me know if helps.

Best,

Kushagra A

Hello,

In the workbook template for your specific document type you will find 6 columns that can satisfy your request:

# COLLABORATOR_1               References the NAME field of a user account.

# COLLABORATOR_2               References the NAME field of a user account.

# COLLABORATOR_3               References the NAME field of a user account.

# GROUP_1                               References the EXTERNAL_ID field of a purchasing group.

# GROUP_2                               References the EXTERNAL_ID field of a purchasing group.

# GROUP_3                               References the EXTERNAL_ID field of a purchasing group.

You can add users/groups using these columns.

Hi Bogdan,

May you please send me the workbook template you are referring to on my email, also if you may send the workbook to remove an added collaborator.

Thanks,

HM

Hi,

It is better for you to extract the templates from your own system.

Each template is system-specific and you will have differences and errors.

To extract a template:

  1. Go to Setup -> System Administration -> Import Data
  2. New -> Upload File to Server -> Next
  3. Choose some dummy XSL/CSV file from your system -> Next
  4. Select your desired Object Type (ex. Master Agreement) -> Enable "Preview the import" -> Next
  5. Download template.csv

This procedure will get you the full template including header extensions.
