Hi Gurus,
We have an issue in RFX response document with "Create Response" button. Recently we upgraded the service pack level to SP13 and from then we have this "Create Response" button missing on the RFX response screen for the vendor.
Before upgrade we have this option enabled and working on the RFX Response document. Also we have this option availble on POWL but grayed out..
I have checked the roles of the vendor which are perfect..
Could you guys please help us to resolve this issue?? We are on SRM 7.01 version...
Thanks in advance
Hi Vinay and Preeti,
Vendor id has this role assigned ( /SAPSRM/BIDDER_EHP1).. But still we are getting this issue...
Preeti,
The link which you provided is for the "Create Response" button missing on POWL. But in our case we have this option available in POWL and missing on RFX Response Screen....
Thanks in advance

Hello Sanjay,
This i believe calls for a case to be debugged. Can you check the class /SAPSRM/CL_PDO_DYN_MDA_HD_RFQ method CREATE_BID_METADATA . This is responsible for bringing up the button on UI.
Just check if cs_metadata-enabled is returning as false and which condition is causing it to false. This should fix it or at least reason for the issue.
Thanks and Regards,
Veera
Hi Sanjay,
this is normal that after SP upgrade you have lost 'Create Response' button as the following note have removed this functionality based on the design decision of SRM developers:
1872169 - Create Response available to the bidder in restricted RFx

Hi Sanjay,
If you are on SRM 7.0 EHP 1 you have to assign this role to the bidder: /SAPSRM/BIDDER_EHP1.
Follow thread
