Hi Experts
Scenario is to create a movt type which can be used to receive returns stock to blocked with returns delivery & also at times without returns delivery.
which std movt type can be referenced to copy (505 doesnt support delivery, 657 doesnt support without delivery)? & what other modifications need to be done ?
Thanks
Ram
Hi,
Why you want the same movement to handle 2 different scenarios (i.e. with and w/o delivery).
As you mentioned you have std.mov. 657 available for return to blocked with delivery and incase of w/o delivery, use the transaction - MIGO - Receipt w/o PO and stock type as blocked (Mov. 505).
Hope it helps.
Thanks,

501 is an unplanned goods receipt (receipt without purchase order) - what has this to do with return with and without deliveries ?
It is is a receipt process from a vendor, while 657 is a return from a customer, I would certainly not want to mix these scenarios .
In general you cannot create new functionalities with create movement, because you overlooked the last part of the IMG activity "create movement by copy"
You can only copy an existing movement, give it a new name, or a different account modifier to find other G/L accounts, and restrict the usage by authorization roles. But the real core functions are hardcoded and cannot be influenced by you.
