UNABLE TO LOGIN

Hi,

I am unable to login to the web console through my user ID and password, it gives the error message "User name or password incorrect".I am able to synchonise the MI client.

update on my above reply-:

I am not talking about the ABAP stack here, please don;t get confused. I am talking about the USER MANAGEMANT of java stack, where you used to assign UME permission, please login with different user (administrator), and unlock the locked user.

Hi Wassinka,

I had a similar problem some time back.

As Satyendra suggested your user could be locked. Try to log into the middleware with your OWN user id and password. If you can, that means your user in not locked. However, I don't feel that 'locked user' could be the reason for your problem, as the webconsole is part of the Java stack, and not the ABAP stack.

I would suggest to stop & restart the J2EE engine of the middleware, if it possible for you to do so.

Is your problem solved?

If no then i think your user is locked. and you can unlock it by logging in with diffrent user in USER MANAGEMENT.

Here you search for your user and click on unlock icon available in the screen.

Hi,

See that the user you are using has authorization S_TCODE.

and other thing is check the correct system name is given.
