Hi,

For a shipper scenario which has many stages, in case the goods are handed over from precarriage to main carriage stage, is there any communication which is send over or any status updated during handover of the  cargo from pre carriage ( say truck) to main carriage say vessel.

Further in freight order w ehave various item status there like set to be picked up, set to loaded etc.In case we want to add some more statuses apart from standard I hope we need to do some development and coding at UI layer and there is no config possible to add new item statuses there?

Yes. I don't think we can configure new statuses in TM. It may require a custom development.
