Hi,

I read couple of documents recommended by experts on CMS Configuration Settings. But could not figure out how to set the following.

I am having already successfully running CMS. I have been using CMS Transport to transport from DEV -> CONS -> PROD since long. (I did not set it up, though) Now I need to change the SAP Client business system from ABCCLNT100 to XYZCLNT100, while transporting from DEV to CONS so that when Integration Directory objects are transported from DEV to CONS, it automatically change the SAP Client in the definitions.

Where do I make changes to take this effect ?

You need to made changes in SLD. Lets take an example you have SRCCLNT100 business system as a source & target is ABCCLNT100. So now you want point to XYZCLNT100.

Here we go sir...

You can create new group for XYZCLNT100

Login to SLD . Select the business system SRCCLNT100> select transport target-> select the newly created transport target group & select the system XYZCLNT100 as a target system.> Click ok> save the SRCCLNT100 Business system.

If you have local SLDs then synchronize SLDs using Export/Import.

Now export the Configuration Scenario from SOURCE & Import to target...

Hi -

Your requirement is not a CMS specific change. You have to adjust your groups and targets in the SLD.
