CMS import taking long time

Former Member

Hi Experts,

Now we are implementing JDI in our machine. We are imported all the necessary .sca file in CMS transport studio Development tab but ESS09_0-10002965.sca is showing import running in state column.

Due to some reason we had to stop the server. But when we restarted our server and opened the CMS transport studio development tab, we seen that the state is same like previous (import running) for ESS09_0-10002965.sca file.

So problem is that now what we have to do for it ? How can we check that the the importing process is still going on ? or we have to do all the process again. We ckecked log file but its blank.

So Experts please give us right way to proceed.

Thanks,

Pankaj

HI,

Addendum to Rajat, kindly check your Database, whether its full or not, incase your using MAXDB the logs must be in auto rewrite mode or the database is full, if incase its SQL ignore this suggestion.'

Hi Pankaj

CMS import takes long time depending on the performance of your instance. And ESS package takes even longer time.Just update your CMS and try the import once again. It should go through.
