Dear All,
Recently we faced an issue with the Default Dashboard in SAP PLM (Project Portfolio Management).
We recently launch our application and we asked all users to set up their personalized dashboard to see only the relevant fields/columns based on their role. Everything was working fine until we implemented new change requests and we released them into production. Seems that every time we transport the changes to production environment all personalized dashboard are lost and users needs to set up the dashboard again from scratch.
Could you please let me know if there is something that we can do in order to avoid this issue?
Thanks a lot in advance
Ignacio
Hello Ignacio
I do not have any idea why this is happening to you, but just a question....why don't you maintain a 'global' dashboard centrally? I.e. you maintain a default layout centrally and all users will see this by default
There was a post by Lashan Wanigatunga 'Setting a default dashboard layout in PPM', please do a search on this and take a look.
At least this way you can set up a global default or multiple different layouts centrally
Regards
