Hi!
In case that we should handle stream data coming from real-time high-throughput sources we probably have to deploy multiple ESP nodes on multiple physical (or virtual) hosts. Does SAP ESP provides a load balancing mechanism for these cases, or it is necessary to implement something externally in order to perform that function...?

Within a single project, ESP does provide a way to increase capacity by adding multiple parallel instances of an operator or module using the CCL "partitions" feature.
But there is no automatic way to partition streams across multiple instances of a project running on an ESP cluster. You can certain do this: set up a multi-node ESP cluster and run multiple project instances, but you will have to implement the stream partitioning externally
