Latitude and Longitude "0"

Hello All,

I tried fetching lat long values in Service manager 4.2. It is returning value 0.

I was referring the blog - agentry device location fetch. Should i add the Location property inside Main Object only or it can be added to other object too. I have the latest SMP SDK7.0 pl01. Is Gps Simulation enabled in the eclipse inbuilt ATE? My Ipad os version is below 8. But still i get "0" value.

Location rule

GPS_Location

0

Longitude property

Longitude

  GPS_Location

Latitude Property

   Latitude

     GPS_Location

Also i tried with MainObject > Current Location > Latitude

MainObject > Current Location > Longitude

Please help.

Thanks,

Basil.

Hi Basil,

I dont think it will not work on iOS 8. This is known issue.

Anyway try this note: - this note for 2.5 version

SAP Note 2035289 - Sales Manager 2.5 not enabling Location or mapping does not work - Agentry

Hi Srinivasan,

Thanks for your reply. I just want to clarify few points.

1. As my Ipad version is not 8, location services should work.

2. This SAP Note

SAP Note 2035289 - Sales Manager 2.5 not enabling Location or mapping does not work - Agentry

is for Sales Manager. Can i apply this note for Service Manager 4.2?

or is it that I am missing some configurations in Ipad or Agentry. When i run the app in Ipad, it is prompting - "App requires access to location services".

Thanks,

Divya
