OBN Target error

Hi Gurus,

WE are on upgrade phase of SRM  5 to SRM 7.02 with NWBC, created a role for shopping cart monitor and when you login to NWBC and check the option in NWBC.

The following error is appearing , can some one please help here. As i am new to developing roles with web dynpro .

What exactly is this OBN , and how do we define it in PFCG.

Appreciate any feedback, and thanks in advance.

Hi Laurent,

I tried this, but no change in my NWBC , still the error persists.

Here i wanted to know what exactly and how does this OBN works, and what the error do mean.

Please suggest

Hi konstantin,

My error was related to monitor shopping cart and it is 'sc.detailprof' , but i still have followed the same procedure the way it was maintained for the standard role by SAP.

What OBN should exactly is to be maintained for those errors.

I was also checking the parameters in SWO1 tcode and maintaing the same for the method, but still no use, can you please suggest if there is any other way to do this.

Hi Pavan,

I think you messing something.

Try following. Assign both roles: your and /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE and check if the navigation works.

Hi Konstantin,

  I am using the standard role, i kept my role aside. I know i am missing some thing but cant get what it is.

So tried using the standard employee role, but the error remains.

Here do i need to activate anything? Just in case or any prechecks to be done?

Hi Pavan,

You user has both roles (your and /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE) an you stil face the problem.

Correct?

Hi ,

Yes the error still exists. with having my role and standard role, and also by testing only with the standard role assigned.

Still cant get a tip off, how to get this resolved.

Hi Pavan,

the standard Role itself should not have the Monitor. How could You test is?

Hi Konstantin,

If we keep the monitor role aside, i still have those kind of errors for the copy of standard role, where in the Work overview Inbox, also displaying the OBN error.

The only error i am seeing here is for OBN , nothing else.

do you have problems with a standart role? Or only with your copied roles?

The issue is with both the standard role and also the copy of the standard role(copy all).

Hi Pavan,

if you have the same problem with the standard role - means there is a problem with your basic customizing. Contact you local BASIS consultatns to solve the issue with the standard roles.
