Which PI adapter support acknowledgments?

We use web service to communicate other system through PI

Is it possible to use acknowledgments as transaction status?

Which PI version are you on?

If you refer to the following online help, it shows a table of all the different adapters and the last column provides details on whether acknowledgements are supported.

What type of web service are you using, and through which adapter type?

SOAP adapter.

If it's async via SOAP, AFAIK I don't think you can get acknowledgments from the partner. If you look at the table I mentioned above, it's not listed.

What about HTTP, we use ABAP+Java PI system.

And is there a job in PI to re-sender message to receiver system?

Are you referring to the soap receiver? If so check SAP note #0000856597 and see if that helps..

Q: How to set System Acknowledgment parameter in soap adapter ?

           A: In the note 1821649, default value of the parameter is set to false. Which means that in case the acknowledgement is required to be generated the parameter has to be explicitly set to true in the channel configuration. So note 1821649 is the relevant note for this issue.

            Parameter Name  : XMBWS.GenerateSysAck

           Parameter Value : true

Yes. It can be done at the adapter level/ you can even schedule the job to resend the messages
