Hello Experts,

In FTR_CREATE can we create one deal for different Business partners.

for example purchasing 100 security bonds from different Business Partners

30 bonds from HDFC, 40 bonds from ICICI and 30 bonds from AXIS Bank.

So can we create one deal for all 100 bonds including all business partners?

Please can somebody answer my question,

Thanks,

Prasad

I agree with most of comments here - you don't have to create one transaction for 3 types of security. Otherwise you won't be able to use specific parameters of security management.

I suggest you to create Z transaction to make a copy of transactions. And then only change some parameters of each transaction to meet your requirement.

Hi Prasad Raju,

This can not be possible to create deal with the three different business partner as you also need to pay them separately and hence flow of the outgoing payment will be based on your business partner.

The position of your bond will be accumulated ( if they are the same bond) and interest/ dividend will be paid based on position only.

Hi Prasad,

As securities is based on position, so you can create 3 deals instead of use 3 BP in one deal.

The dividend/interest are calculated base on position amount but not deal.

HI,

You can add additional partners in Partner assignment tab.

HI,

this will act like syndication. Your position will still be represented by main counterparty.

There won't be any accounting implicatIons. It will be only for reporting.
