SMTP - Send emails: Hide username

Hello,

I wish to send mails only with the email address.

Exemple:

Correct

From: <email_address>

Not correct

From: <username> <email_address>

Can anyone help me in this situation?

Hi Bruno,

I hope it is due to  If an SAP user does not have an Internet mail address maintained , a sender address consisting of the SAP user name and this domain is generated.

Can you check in SU01d-->Address tab(Email) for the mentioned id.If not please maintain it and try.

I have an Internet mail address maintained in the user that I use to send mails:

Email: my_email@domain.xxx    

Comm. Method: E-Mail

I wish that the recipients of my emails do not know my SAP username.

HI Bruno,

As per the configuration guide you have any service user created in SU01.I believe if it is not maintained it will pick from your profile.

As per the SAP Help..

Take a look at the sample mail configured in inbox without user id created.Try follwing the same steps.

Are you talking about the "Recipient Type"? My recipiente type is "Internet Address"

Can you use the recipient type as By email and let us know.

But make sure mail Id filed is maintained for all the users.
