Help with exchanging cXML using SAP PI

Is anyone exchanging cXML with a partner. Can you please indicate the communications configuration used? How are you configuring for the HTTP connection for the request/response? Also anyone configured for TLSv1? This is not an Ariba connection. Just using cXML standard communication and structure. We would like to bring documents into a folder and map, and for outbound map from idoc.

Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated !

cXML is a predefined type of XML then you only need to import the schemas or DTDs in PI and to work with them:

Thanks for the info..I will review the blog and material you forwarded..

Basic question I guess, Can we just bring the cxml data and convert that into simple xml file and drop it into a local directory in our landscape and use that as a source and map it in PI to process it thru to our application system. and if yes what communication method you suggest we use and how it is setup to exchange the document with partner.
