How to transport a custom Internet Service

Former Member

Hi all,

I made a custom internet service in SE80 for some Mobile devices following this guide: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-34935.

I made it as local changes and i used the package $TEMP. How can i do to transport thoose changes from DEV to QAS and to PRD? Is that possible? Is there a way to replicate all service states (in SICF) form DEV system to next Systems in a three systems landscape?

Regards,

A.

Hi Andres Soncini,

A package into which we store objects represents a development class which itself determines the fate of the object. Whether it will remain in the current box or be moved to Q or production.

You may change the package assignment in se80 by:

1. Right-clicking on the Internet Service you have created -> Other functions -> Change package assignment.

2. Enter the new package name

3. It will prompt you for a request.

Let me know!

Hi A,

You will be able to transport the templates - but you will need to do the SICF activations and parameter settings manually in QAS and PRD.

Steps should be the same as done on DEV.
