Solution Manager 4.0 Landscape

All this time I had installed only one Instance of solution Manager for testing.

This is now working fine.

Now I want to setup the production Environment. What is the General Scenario for solution manager. Do we need to have a DEV and PRD or only one PRD system will do?

In 3.2, we had 1 instance. In 4.0 with the the added scenarios, we're going with a 3 system landscape: SBX, DEV/TEST, and PRD.

Solution manager system is for the managing purpose.

One system is enough for this. It's basically used for monitoring.

It depends, but I would suggest you to have 2 system landscape. But you can still go with only PRD, no harm, if your system is stable.
