Hi Gurus,

We have a strange situation.

We were changing an Infoobject but while activating it it gave us an error that IO is being used in a DSO. We tried to find that DSO but were unable to find it in RSA1 serach function. We looked in RSDODSO and RSDODSOTABL and DSO is listed in both tables.

Can anybody please help us resolving this mystery?

Regards

Prashant

Hi,

Go to RSA1--> info provider,

click on search button and enter DSO name.

Search it, it will find if it exist.

if not exist then collect DSO (into Tr) from dev system and transport to Qua/Prod.

Just log off from server and relog in and search for your dso At RSA1-->info provider

Use exact DSO name while searching

Thanks

Ok... I addressed the issue by deleteing Active Data table, Change log Table and New Data table in Se14 and it resolved the issue. Hence closing this thread. I really appreciate all of you to spend time and responding to this thread.

Hi,

plesae check the global level find the option.

RSA1 -> select the global level find -> give the DSO name -> now you will find the DSO name.

if have the DSO have data it is not possible to change the lenght or data type.

after deleting the data you can do changes.

Hi Prashant,

Go to RSD1 -> Display your Infoobject -> Click on Where Used.

You should be able to get all the list of all objects where it is being used.

Just drop down the objects and locate your DSO under the Data store tree.

Please let me know if you are not able to find your DSO even after following above.

Thanks
