Model Tree

I exported my 3DS MAX file to RH, then to U3D to PDF, my question is, on the model tree top level, it listed "model" then under it, it shows all of the parts, is there a way to change the word "model" to something else, like "House", then under it, shows its parts, like windows, doors, walls etc?

I know I can group the part to a node, but it is just not the most top level hierarchy order.

Hi Meng,

Yes. In VE Author double click (or select Object Properties for)  the node you wish to change. On the Transformation
tab you can change the Name. Save the rh (or publish to pdf).

Hi Malcolm, thanks for the help, I know you can rename the nodes,

but I am looking to change the word "model", (image below),

which appears one level up of all the parts in the scene,

it would (almost) be equivalent of changing the word "3D Object list" in VE,

any ideas? thanks in advance!

Hi Meng,

Sorry, I didn’t read your question properly.

It looks like “model” is the default for all 3D PDFs. You may be able to influence/change that in the PDF Template Designer.
