Single File Installer & Automatic Workstation Update

I am testing the Single File Installer package for our off-site users.  As part of the package, the Automatic Workstation Update product is installed, but it does not seem to update.  Is this by design?

I didn't bother including the Automatic Workstation Update for the Single File Installer, as I assumed people using the Single File Installer would not be on the network all the time and so would need more control over this process. In other words, if I have an update to push out, I'm going to make a new Single File Installer and send it to them.

That makes sense. Once I push out a new version I only update once a year.

I guess you don't use the Global XML file option either then.

I'm still on 7.30, so no XML involved, but we do use the 7.30 equivalent, the global or central saplogon.ini. However, you're right, I do not use that for the single file installer -- for that I setup a separate package with a different on-install script that copies the saplogon.ini to the local workstation -- the saplogon.ini is bundled up in the single-file-installer.
