Scheduling AO workbooks with exit-variables

Hi experts,

we are trying to schedule AO workbooks. In the filter of the BEx query we have a customer exit variable for the last calday.

After scheduling, the workbook do not refresh filter on the next day.

We observed that the calday always is the day on which the job was created.

Do you have the same behavior with scheduling workbooks?

Hi all,

we use a 3rd party tool scheduling AO workbooks.

It will allow all types of variables and will not require any additional hardware.

We schedule our workbooks via client PC. All settings are made locally and one great benefit...it can be integrated into BW process chains.

Hi Robert Schneider,

use latest analysis office client 1.4 SP11 save the workbook again with SP11

also use latest BIP Add-on SP11 for scheduling

it should work now

Unfortunately it did not work even with analysis office client 1.4 SP11 and BIP Add-on SP11.

We will open a OSS message. I will give some news here.

Robert - I don't have a similar situation where I could try this myself - have you considered downloading the latest Analysis Office 2.0 SP2 and trying this?

BI4.1 SP5 and AO 1.4 SP10

I wonder if you could try it with SP11? I understand there are scheduling enhancements in the later SP's

You mean that normally it has to work?

I understand that there are not restrictions with scheduling workbooks and exit-variables.

Are there any prerequisites for exit-variables and scheduling?
