Project version **** already exists, OV004

Dear Gurus,

While creating version through TC CN72, the error message displaying as "INFORMATION":

Project version M01 already exists, OV004.

When I checked table VSPROJ_CN and VSPRPS_CN, there are no versions with this name.

Also, after checking further in details, we found that there is table check for VSKOPF which is project and WBS independent table but all the version entries exists in this table.

Kindly guide how to avoid this error while using TC CN72.

I have checked many other forums, but there is no precise information to handle this INFORMATION message.

Hi Narender,

Can you please ensure you check the table VSKOPF again, there should be an entry for the project and the version you are trying to create.

this information is provided when you have a version copy created under M01 in your example.

this is a valid information and is not a hard stop.

Perform any change to the project and then you can copy the data back to the version.
