GRC 10.1 Risk Analysis - Roles and Users do not exist

Dear Experts,

On GRC 10.1, I have executed synchronization jobs and it finished successfully.

After that I tried to execute risk analysis but users/roles on ECC side do not exist.

Could you please help me what should I do?

Hi Nazli

I recommend you go back to basics and check through the Integration Framework setup to ensure you have properly defined your connectors. Also ensure the RFC connection and logical system has been configured.

Next up, check your RFC connection to see if the User Id in there unlocked and has sufficient access in the plug-in system.

Rerun all sync jobs for object repository and see if you get any result

Hi Nazil,

Please check to make sure that the connector is linked to AUTH integration scenario. And also that the rules have been generated.

Thanks

Hi All,

We have already checked it.

Sync programs call itself, not ECC system this is the problem.

It should call ECC system, we create connector for ecc not grc.

Thanks

Could you explain 'Sync program call itself'? At this point, I guess if you share the config steps you have performed end to end, it may help. Have you followed the below document?

Hi Sajib,

This document is for GRC 10, but i am working on GRC 10.1

I have already checked it.

After executing synch jobs i do not find ECC users&roles on GRC side for risk analysis.

Thanks

Hi Nazli,

It seems the issue is with connector config.I  assume the job which is running the sync program is assigned the variant containing  appropriate connector (pointing to ECC system).

Hi Deepak,

I checked the connector it is for ECC system not for GRC.

Hi,

Did you also check the job is running with the variant containing the connector?

Hi Nanzi,

Then without checking the actual config, It's difficult to say anything further. You should write to SAP about it.

Nazil,

The document holds true for GRC 10.1 as well.

Hi Deepak,

There is one warning message for user sych;

User Adapter is empty

SP level is 0008, is it related with this?

Thanks

Hi Deepak,

I made some changes and executed the synch jobs again.

On SLG1 there is no any error/warning now.

But still output is empty.

Thanks

Hi Deepak,

I found this one and checked my customizing.

I have already done Maintain Data Sources Configuration.

Hi Nazil,

Did you check the synchronization job logs? That's where I would start to troubleshoot.

Also, the 1st sync should be a Full Sync.

Regards,

Sajib.

Hi Sajib,

I executed as Full Sync.

And I checked the spool details of sync jobs and they completed successfully.

Thanks

Could you send a screenshot of the place where you found the problem? I think I am not clear on the problem. Is it when you run an ad-hoc risk analysis and in the output you see no result?
Please verify the below tables, you should have the users/ roles for the ECC system:

GRACUSERCONN

GRACRLCONN

GRACRLCONNT

Hi Sajib,

This is the problem.

All synch jobs have been completed successfully but these tables do not have data.

Thanks
