Importance & Usage of Operating Frequency in Mitigating Control id creation:

Hi All,

Require clarifications on the below during the Mitigating control maintenance:

• When the Operating Frequency is used in Mitigating Control id creation and its importance?
• Usage of Operating Frequency in Mitigating Control id creation ?
• Is it relevant to GRC Access control component ?
• Currently there are no values showing under this option. How to ensure values appear in this drop down ?

I have referred the following link and unsure if it states that it is invalid for the GRC AC component. Which BC set is being referred here ?

Hi Arun,

Basically Operating Frequency is related to PC and also comes with BC SET GRPC-FREQUENCY (Time Frame Frequencies)

Thanks for the input!

The requirement is that each of MC id should be be monitored on a periodic basis (Halfyearly/Yearly).

Is this the option to ensure the same or is there any other setting for achieving this requirement ?

Also, if this is the option, than I will need to ensure the GRPC-FREQUENCY is Activated and by default I should have the Halfyearly or Yearly as the drop down values for selection right ?

Please update on the same.
