Hello,
I have the following problem with the HANA Output Adapter:
Every time I try to connect with the data service and push then the button "Schema Discovery" I get the following error message:
When I push the second time "Schema Discovery" it work and I can choose my table from SAP HANA (where the output should be saved).
But when I try to start the adapter it fails again with the same error message
(The service name in the adapter properties is not configured as an ODBC service. The SAP HANA Output Adapter requires an ODBC connection to function.).
I use the 64 bit odbc driver, because I also have ESP and HANA with 64 bit.
I also configured the ODBC DSN and with that the data service.
The data service and the odbc connection works fine.
With an generic db output adapter the same data service I used for the hana output adapter works without any problems.
Does anybody can give me a hint how to fix that problem?
Thanks in advance
Stefan
Hi Stefan
You need to tell us
1) if ESP is on Windows or Linux, etc.
2) if you are using ESP SP09 or HANA Smart Data Streaming.
The answers depend on this information.

Discovery of a HANA schema should work from the HANA Output Adapter and/or a connection in the Data Services View.
The first point to check is that you are using streamingdbodbc_lib and not streamingdbodbc64_lib
It is described in Section 3 of the Adapters Guide that under Windows (all versions) you must use streamingdbodbc_lib.
This is a link to the relevant section in the guide
